Friends-to-lovers trope and fake dating all rolled into one story?? Sign me up! I loved this book. Not only does it have some of my favorite tropes, but it had the perfect balance of cuteness and omg, just kiss already. The ending did feel a little bit rushed and I wished the book had gone a bit more into Nathan's mental health, but nonetheless, I still loved this book and was sad when it ended because I needed more Nathan and Bree.

this was really not great. the characters were pretty annoying, the dialogue was poorly written imo, and i really was just not a fan of this. i was really disappointed to find the main character annoying which made the dialogue even more annoying and less believable. pretty disappointed in this unfortunately. also all of the incest comments made me so uncomfortable.

Story was fine, characters were okay, but the writing was trying way too hard to be cute, clever, and ~relatable~. Couldn't identify with the characters' problems either. Can't shake the feeling that

if they hadn't been "forced" to date, they definitely never would have eventually shared their true feelings, just kept it bottled up forever. Go to therapy.

The ending felt super abrupt too. Big meh.
