Love it. The over the top dramatics are, well, over the top. And I feel like she’s dragging out the whole premise a little longer than necessary.

Loved the first book, because it was so fresh, funny, exciting, and not a typical romance. The second book was ok, but a little disappointing at the end. With the third, I mostly read the first couple chapters and then skipped to the end. If there are more books in the series, I will be skipping them.
These books are a riot. So over-the-top fun and silly. This series continues to be one of my new favorites. A complete wacky action adventure mystery featuring Ms. Finlay and crew contending with loan-sharks, gangsters, crooked cops, and corrupt lawyers while still trying to get an update on her love life. I'm so impressed with how Cosimano makes all of the crazy into a terrific light-hearted mystery. Here's hoping for many more stories in this series!
Enjoyable but think it’s time for series to wrap up. It’s so over the top that while entertaining, loses its mystique after a bit.

Finlay and Veronica find themselves deeper in trouble. There’s another dead body, more suspicious cops, difficult exes, lots of awkward moments, and some good laughs. This one was enjoyable, but the formula is starting to wear a little thin. This is definitely not my favorite of the series.
