- Tui đặc biệt thích một tập truyện, đó là [b:Gun Play|25401334|Gun Play (Daredevil Vol. 2 #12)|Joe Quesada/Jimmy Palmiotti|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1429632736s/25401334.jpg|45154679]. [a:Joe Quesada|12801|Joe Quesada|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1402115612p2/12801.jpg] viết tập này rất hay.
- Xây dựng nhân vật ổn. Tui thích Maya Lopez. Ban đầu tui có lo là tác giả sẽ không viết tốt nhân vật nữ này (chuyện đã xảy ra với rất nhiều nhân vật nữ khác trong Daredevil). Nhưng đến khi đọc tập truyện cuối cùng, tui gần như không có gì để phàn nàn về nhân vật này cả. Từ backstory, mối quan hệ với Matt Murdock và Echo, tất cả đều được viết rất tốt. (Và hình như tui quên nói Maya là người da màu nhỉ? Yasss.)
- Art của [a:David W. Mack|10455|David W. Mack|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1368554593p2/10455.jpg] đẹp lắm ạ.

great relief from smith. i first encountered echo while reading new avengers so getting to know her a bit better here with a more narrow focus was great. fisk/kingpin is my favourite marvel villain of all time so my enjoyment is no surprise here.

I liked Parts of a Hole well enough.
Everyone says that Kevin Smith's [b:Daredevil, Vol. 1: Guardian Devil|418107|Daredevil, Vol. 1 Guardian Devil|Kevin Smith|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1374684277s/418107.jpg|1239286] is overwritten, but I think Smith's story was better crafted than David Mack's. Mack's writing is serviceable: the story stays at a purely superficial level and it ultimately feels like a transitional story arc. Daredevil is on the fringes of his own story, while Echo steals the spotlight. She is the light of this trade. I hope to see more of this character soon - I'm sad she's not better known (by the general public, I guess - I can attest to that as a newbie to Marvel).
The one issue that shines in the whole trade is Gun Play, written by Joe Quesada. It was beautiful, and reminded me of movies like Magnolia. It turns out I like Quesada's writing as much as I like his art.
Fun fact: you can play a drinking game of spotting references to the work of Kevin Smith!

Beautifully written and drawn, introducing the great character of Echo. However, it is a touch repetitive of The Elektra Saga.
