This collection was just painfully underwhelming. There first 3/4 stories of the book are too full of different characters but too short to develop any of them or actually have any understanding of who’s who in the story. The last two were just alright, significantly cut down on the number of characters but also just a bit bland. The only story I really enjoyed was Anhedonia, Here I Come, and if I was rating this onnuts own it would be a solid 3.5/4 stars.

Enjoyed the writing, but the stories were a bit too dark for me.
