I love a good love-square-but-not-really-cuz-it’s-only two-people. Now just make them superheroes with hidden identities and I’m in love

Solid light-hearted romance pallette cleanser. A fun little rom-com!

I forgot to review this book after I listened to it! I thought it was sweet, but it was You’ve Got Mail just updated to a dating app messaging. I think they even reference Shop Around the Corner which was the movie You’ve Got Mail updated! So knowing everything that was coming kind of made it less fun. I will try another book by this author though.

A new twist on the classic Shop Around the Corner story.

This is a great fall read!

The new twist is a champagne shop in NYC with the love interests exchanging messages through a dating app. Cute, clever, classic.

Reviewed from a library copy.

cute story, but lacking some development

its repeatedly said that Sir is Gracie's confidant but its never exactly shown. the conversations shown are related to the actual events but it never adds anything meaningful

i wanted to see more of Sebastian and Sir

the side characters were nice, Robyn's development was also great but it felt...too instant

Grqcie's siblings were awesome though! overall, glad to have read it

the ending was a treasuuuure!!! ♡

i was actually going to rate this 3.5 stars as i didn't feel the chemistry between sebastian and gracie or sir and lady. but with that last few chapters? miss layne compensated it. uno reverse card achieved.
