what a beautifully unique book this was. i loved many parts of it, of course including the octopus’ pov, which holds a special place in my heart. the writing made the story so well executed, and it made everything this read entails come to life. keep in mind, however, that i was in a mini book slump while reading this. therefore, it wasn’t as easy to get engrossed in the world, which i hate because this was such a spectacular book. right book, wrong time ….
