It was alright. The concept was solid but I feel like it super slow paced and at the end I feel like it didn’t really go anywhere. I also feel like some characters storyline didn’t contribute anything to the main plot.

A book that is dual time from 1918 to 2010, we meet the Flores Women who are lace makers and Alice who has been given a lace veil that has been handed down with a mysterious pattern from her descendants.

Here we follow the story of the Lace Makers and how Alice is linked to them.

For me the story was good but even though I did finish it (to find out what happened) it was more about the Flores Women that this book is based on.. it could have possibly been written without the flip flopping.. finished it but not one of my favourites!
