Good start. Unsurprisingly, as soon as creative team had to take on board some of the stuff Morrison incorporated into the Batman canon, it went down hill fast. Rallied a bit at the end, but not as good as first two collections.

Wow, I picked this up at the library and did not realize this was the third volume in a series. Oops. Yeah, I had no idea what was going on through most of it--especially since certain plot points seemed to happen in books not about Batgirl. Still, I really liked Stephanie Brown in the costume. She was funny and had witty comebacks worthy of Buffy. I might just have to go back and read the volumes I missed.

Stephanie Brown as Batgirl - run-ins with the Order of the Scythe, 'bonding' with Damien, connecting with Barbara, getting used to Proxy, and realizing dear old dad, The Cluemaster, is out and about, plus Mom finds out that she's Batgirl.

Good, but kind of disjointed...I'd be hard pressed to summarize everything going on here, and it occasionally feels like some pieces are missing. Dustin Nguyen's art is a sight for sore eyes after mostly dull stuff throughout the other collections, but even here he often seems to be missing his usual spark. It all kind of works in a weird way though, and makes me wish that Stephanie's time as Batgirl hadn't been cut short.
