Ending felt a *little* dragged out but otherwise very entertaining. Definitely leaving children’s book territory because it was quite a bit darker than the previous two but it made me much more invested in the characters. The patronus

The third movie was always one of my favorites growing up, and now the book is too. Longer than the previous ones, but didn’t feel like it at all — I was just pulled in. Nostalgia hits hard, and that’s what made this whole read so special. Just a cozy, familiar return to a world I love.

Okie so I finished Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban recently. And here are my thoughts

Absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.

I wish I could Obliviate myself just to experience this book again for the first time. I loved the
Three Broomsticks scene — the details about Sirius were so well written! I also noticed how much Ron craves validation, which makes sense considering his best friend is basically a celebrity and his brothers are all high achievers
. He really feels like the glass child. And honestly, we were robbed of Chapter 15 in the movie adaptation — it was one of my favourite chapters in the book! From that point onward, everything just became so intense. I couldn't put it down!

Was excited to get information and story lines that you don't see in the movies, can confidently say I got what I was hoping for. I really liked the backstory that's given towards the end.

75% of this book is rising action and then the climax/falling action comes so close to the end. Somehow, that works. The impressiveness of this book series cannot be understated. Serious Black, fun. Professor Lupin, fun. I liked it very much.
