This series did shape me on a fundamental level as a child, but I can't give the books 5 stars without also stating that, if you'd like to read them, it is worth the effort to buy the books from a secondhand bookshop, rent them from a local library, or borrow from a friend if you can so as to not support J.K. Rowling in any way.
This is the best book by far. So many more epic details!!
I’m finally seeing what everyone says about the books being so much better than the films because I’ve experienced that with other series but I wasn’t feeling it with the Harry Potter books. This book has changed that though.
I’ve found out so much more about Harry’s parents, lupin, Peter and Sirius. This book was just a 10/10 in terms of detail compared to the films.
So excited for the next one.

This book is amazing. Will always be in my favorite books of all time and arguably the best Harry Potter book. The way that it describes characters and flows is engaging and fun, highly recommend!
