HOT DAMN, THIS WAS A STELLAR ONE. I had my misgivings for the first two in the series because of their structure and pacing but this one really does it for me. Hermione was extremely hard to root for this book, it's one thing to tell McGonagall about the firebolt but not trying to reign in Crookshanks and act as if Ron was insane for being upset was a bit too much. ALSO, the amount of differences in the book compared to the movie are really stark. I forgot that the trio literally jumped a suspected wizard serial killer AND tried to disarm a teacher all within 10 minutes, WHERE WAS THAT IN THE MOVIES HUHH. I'm also never going to get over how they gloss over the fact that a grown man was intimately living with two minors over the course of 12 years...

Ok but honestly what else are you supposed to rate a Harry potter book ? This read was mainly to try and check off my bucket list. Im set on finishing all the series and they definitely dont disappoint. For someone who unfortunately saw the movies then read the books I 100% feel that movies DO NOT give enough details as books.

Still my absolute favorite from the Harry Potter series. The ending is just so perfect! It’s also quite hilarious that every single time Snape is going off the rails and accusing Harry of something, everyone says “no, not harry. He didn’t do anything!” But he really did do what Snape is accusing him of
no comments... Rowlling has for one more time surprised me! This book deserves a million stars!!!
