out of all suzanne collins’ work it’s good i love her writing and her world building. this is just not one of the best ones. the last time i read this was in 2013 and it was good then obviously i was starstruck just like everybody else. i just finished ballad and then sunrise tho, and so everything is just a little more,,,depressing to think about. the first time we see haymitch, he’s drunk-major ouch. any deniability we had that surely the Capitol wouldn’t use their real eyes went right out the door after finding out what happened to Lou Lou and Louella. Katniss being a sweetheart is different too. Katniss is a funny narrator. she’s so 16.
