A nice revisit to a classic today with my mom as she read (watched—2004 version) with me. Been sick and finally able to keep my eyes open for a bit which my mom took advantage of and spent the day with me.

Nothing too grand but those who appreciate this work as well as have a love for the arts keep this one close to their hearts

Classics like this one make me so grateful that modern authors try to shorten their sentences and keep the unnecessary details to a minimum.

Wonderful! Fun! Spooky! Listened to it as an audiobook which made it so much better. Now I can watch the live action version in peace. I looked up the reading level about halfway through because I was like, “this is really good!” 7-9th grade. LOL. Anyways Anna if you are reading this you inspired this venture.
