I enjoyed the creepy elements of the Opera Ghost (the OG! /heehee). The musical is one of my favorite creepy love triangles. The original story is the same triangle presented as a gothic horror (low on the horror scale... I think, not being a fan of the genre).



I wanted to know more about The Persian, and I didn't especially like Raoul as a love interest. I suppose the purpose was a juxtaposition of the strong, foul OG against the sickly, whiney childhood love.

It was a quick read, which I also did not expect. Enjoyed. Recommended.
