I can't even begin to express how much I'm loving this series. It is full of humor, intrigue, zany characters, and a mystery that kept me guessing to the end. The next one can't come soon enough!

Alf is slowly getting things under control at the Inn however she still has a ways to go but someone keeps waking her when they cry and she needs to find out how to help them. I just love the ghosts that hang out at the Inn including her Dad, Grandmama, Florence, Zephaniah and you hope as you read this story they will not only help Luppitt but pull together to help Alf also. Luppitt's sad tale leads Alf on quiet the adventure including going to London to try and find out who is still after him all these years later. There are plenty of suspects to work through as well as surprises to be had in regards to the Wonky Inn that keep you on your toes and guessing what will happen next!

This story grabbed me on the first page and did not let go until I finished it. There are absolutely wonderful characters, many of whom I sincerely hope to read more about in the next book in this series. The only thing I would have changed is the length (another 600 pages might fix it, lol). I enjoyed very much an hope you will too.

Loved this book to receive 5 stars from me means I want to read more from this author. Unfortunately I have not read the 1st book in this series and it was referenced many times, would suggest you read it first. Think it is great that Alf, the main character is such a compassionate person, allowing about 60+ ghosts to live in her inn. Interesting the way history is intertwined throughout the book. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Can definitely recommend..
