Das Manuskript

A random, anonymous security guard, not even described in any other way comes into the book in this sentence "...monitored by a morbidly obese uniformed guard". Really?!?! Wow. Completely unnecessary fat phobia there, Mr. Pavone.

Overall, it was a decent thriller, but you really have to suspend your idea of reality to buy it.

Wow! Not quite as engaging as Gone Girl, nor as mysterious as Where'd You Go Bernardette - Nevertheless, this book was very more-ish. I kept needing to read MORE! The hinting kind of gave the game away and I had the twists mostly figured out before they were revealed, but still a very fun read.

Very thrilling! Couldn't put it down.

I bought this book a few years back and just never got around to reading it until now. It was a good book… very suspenseful, but it was just a bit to “conspiracy theory” for me.

I had no idea the world of publishing could be so dangerous. Overall I really enjoyed this. I feel like I want one more chapter to tie things up but as I said I liked it overall. It was a quick read for me.

Loved this! Finished in two days, I think.

I listened to the audio for this, and found myself wanting to go to work so that I could listen on the way! Intriguing plot line.
