Come Home, We Love You Still is a small collection of dialogue poems (which is exactly what it sounds like) from writer/poet Justin Grimbol. The dialogue is between a husband and wife who seem to be drifting and dreaming their way through life, moving from town to town in a moment's notice, for inane reasons such as the way the trees look or just because they get bored. The poems are often hilarious and full of heart, but never too maudlin or sappy. At times it sort of reads like a Cormac McCarthy play written by Joe R Lansdale if he had maybe borrowed characters from an old drunky Tom Waits song, and yes, it's as funny as it sounds.

So perfectly Grimbol. Poetry as dialog or is it dialog as poetry. So much charm, so much tenderness and, as always, a few naked butts.
Reading this will save all the marriages. I believe this. And it will save the dogs. And make you want to swim. Swim with all the butts.
