This book is definitely a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, it has insights that have inspired me to change my lifestyle and challenge my base assumptions that I walk into each day with. It has drawn me closer to Christ and given me more practical steps to be able to follow him.
On the other hand, his political and personal views are very present through snippets and even full points throughout the book, which both detract from the focus on Jesus, and seem almost antagonistic towards a part of his reader base.
Overall, I would recommend this book for anyone, as the benefits I gained solidly outweighed the annoyances.
