Beach episode!
spoiler theory and random thoughts:
Something they said in the previous volume makes me think the invaders also don't know why they were sent. Ontan said something along the lines like she feels this has happened before. So my theory is like a time travel thing- or humans left earth in search for someplace better and returned. It's still in the works.
They're building this ocean stadium to protect people- select people. This feels gross and like it would actually be attempted and have a paywall.
"Humanity had grown up according to plan, so we should have been able to get along with them."
Humans were livestock to purify their home's air...

Invaders can also take over people, but apparently they've been here since before 8/31. My head hurts and my theory is crumbling.
"Turns out I only believe safe lies..." Ain't that the truth. I feel like I stumble onto internet comments filled with conspiracy against the government, but they are never on the nose at actual problems and actual ways the government is suppressing us. Only give in to the safe conspiracies which are the less supported ones.
