Missed opportunity to make a 'kitchen smells fishy' pun but I get that lamb symbolizes the innocence, purity, and sacrifice that the story called for, especially as the author never specified the exact problem which led to the murder.

An interesting short story that really sets the right tone and atmosphere in just 15 pages.

i had to read this for school (not kindle edition, idk why tf i accidentally clicked that but oh well! too lazy to change it.) and it was SO DAMN interesting. idk why i loved it so much, i just did. the suspense was really damn cool and the ending?? w her just giggling?? god that was so good.
