This book is so boring and I can't finish it. https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/2746871?shelf=read

A very well balanced book. Bolton has no fear.

If you already know that Trump is a moron surrounded by monsters (Bolton included) then this book won’t contain any new insights for you.

Interesting information. Not terribly well written.

Did not finish.

One vile loathsome toad writing about an even more vile loathsome toad.

While knowing what took place would be worth knowing, there have to be better sources that don't include constant swipes at previous Presidents (of both parties, lest you think my objection is partisan).

This book ignores Trumps bad decisions and focuses on how Bolton thinks he is smarter than everyone else. It gets boring midway through.

Whatever you think about John Bolton and some of his *somewhat detestable* views this is a genuinely insightful read. The account of his time in the Administration of 45 paints a scary picture of the occupant treated national security and paints a personal account of the conflation of national and personal interest.
Although one does wonder why this is being made public within a book and not in front of congress...
