Tbh my opinions on the sequel are mostly the same as the debut. This is an incredibly solid series that carries great characters, world-building, and plot with so much personality. Great continuation of the series. Tau was placed in a lot of new and different situations in this one, and it was interesting to see how he navigated them. This book, like the last, did a great job of keeping things moving forward at all times, and it felt like there was never a dull moment.

The worlds of Uhmlaba and Isihogo are so unique interesting and there's still so much left to learn about them, so I absolutely cannot wait for book 3 to come.
