this graphic novel is okay. the art style is cool and i like the concept but it got pretty muddled for me. the characters were all pretty flat imo (but it’s so short so it’s hard to develop them so much). it was also pretty confusing at times. not my fave but still enjoyable

 I'll admit I'm intrigued from this first volume, but I wouldn't say I love it.

2.5 ⭐️ 

Yeah, this first volume didn’t impress me. I’ll continue reading because I have literally no idea what’s happening and Goodreads seems to think the next ones are better.

I’m also disappointed that Mac ended up being bigoted, I was so sure she was queer at first 😭. Hopefully she’ll unlearn

Even though this book had a few weird pacing issues in the beginning, once the ball got rolling it ROLLED and I was instantly hooked. I’m in love with the art style and the gorgeous color palette, and the story seems really entertaining! I’m definitely excited to see where it’ll go.
