i don’t really have any idea what just happened, but it was cool.
i loved the art style and all of the colors. the story was cool, but i genuinely don’t know what was going on. though i do think that was intentional on the authors part.
this honestly just felt like if the gang from stranger things had been all girls instead of boys.
something i didn’t like was all of the homophobic language. it just made me feel ick. i know the story is set in 1988, but there didn’t really seem to be a point to the language other than the author just thinking they could say those things. didn’t sit right with me.

This was good. Bonus points for name dropping Star Trek IV. It starts with four girls on their paper delivery routes on All Saint's Day, with all the weirdos from Halloween still out and about... and some characters that are more than you would think beneath their costumes.
Brian K. Vaughan again crafts an out of this world tale that blends the normal and the fantastic in a way that makes me smile and want to read more. I will be checking out more of this series for sure.

Second re-read; 2022.
This deserves the awards it got! artist&colorist.
I'm not into comics especially SCI-FI but I try to read them coz I feel I'd be missing out stuff I might enjoy, and I was right.
Even though it's a typical comic style of the same not much changed in the art, the BGs, the different angles, the expressions, and the color choices are insane
