Anything illustrated by Cale Atkinson is an automatic preorder for me. I enjoy his illustrations and each project looks visually different than the other.

This book gets five stars on illustrations alone! The pictures are absolutely stunning! The story is simple & told through two narrators. Love the themes of exploration & friendship! Kids will love this book and the subtle humor throughout! My favorite thing about this book is that encourages kids to explore & seek out new adventures.

Bright, colorful, and sweet illustrations, but I don't love the message about not being afraid of and befriending bears you meet in the wild.

Cale Atkinson writes the best picture books. He is a serious fave of mine. Check them out when you get the chance! This one is so adventurous and vivid, I love it!

This story is so fun and wonderful! I love the illustrations, as well. That bear's face has such great expression.
