A short Christmas romance promised to warm your heart this winter and it did not disappoint. Lottie hates Christmas for personal reasons more than just the lights giving her a headache. She's a girl full of heart, but also funny. I found myself giggling through the whole book, and the romance was epic cute. Lucas is her childhood crush, who is also pretty funny because he's always liked her, but never had the guts to say anything. Is Christmas really the best time to open his heart? Well, he sure thinks so. I really loved this corky romance. It was sweet and cute, and it sure warmed my heart. If you enjoy laughter, tear-jerking moments, and swoon-worthy romance all wrapped up in a Christmas gift wrap, don't even bother looking anywhere else. This story is for you.

If you are looking for a sweet, slow-burn romance in the background of the festive season, Laura Burton's "Love Me Darling" is the one to pick. The final book of the "Love Me" series, the love story of Lucas and Lottie is distinct but still familiar as it is a reunion of all the power couple protagonists from the other books. Laura's descriptive writing of the English winter gave me White Christmas vibes that resonated throughout the book. Lucas is such a sweet character, charming but still so shy and complements Lottie very well. She is joyous in the company of kids, empathetic and has so much love to give. Her insights throughout the book are memorable and also add an authentic element which makes her relatable. The ending had me smiling from ear to ear!

This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last. I am going to go and get me copies of the other books in this series. I love the characters name, Charlotte aka Lottie that is my two year old's name and we mainly call her Lottie.

This was an adorable sweet romance. Well written plot that is perfect for this time of year. This is the final book of the "Love Me" series

I highly recommend this wonderful holiday read.
