I haven't read in months and this bought me out of my slump immediately. I wasn't a fan of the self-helpy side of it because I tend to not like that kind of thing, but the psychology of it I found fascinating to read about. I think some of the things the philosopher mentioned were so interesting and I really enjoyed it. I also think the youth was pretty hilarious, his responses were over the top and dramatic but in a way that sounded like he was seriously taking the piss.

This book didn’t work for me. Alderian psychology is a tough concept to grasp—one that I’m not sure I could ever relate to. The book has some arguably profound messages, but I was more annoyed by the end of the book than inspired.
