Sneaky, sneaky Cyran Faringray releasing a surprise novella set in our favorite 𝘛𝘰𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘩 universe! And, or course, I loved it! 

It is a dark and stormy night, and River is on the run when her car breaks down. She enters a creepy mansion, and well, things go on from there! 

River & Yrvaeth story is so cute and sweet for such evil little villains, par for the course in these books. I loved their story, and especially River’s acceptance of her true self by the end.

As usual, Cyran Faringray’s writing was so beautiful and pulled me in right from the start. I can’t wait to see if these two pop-up again in future books! 🖤

"Macabre and rare, but all the more precious for it."

Dark enraptured fantasy at its move delicious. I slurped this up in a matter of days. River has the fire you long for in a FMC and our haunting MMC reaches beyond what it means to be a villain you hate to love.

Faringray has a talent to stitch the boundaries of vile and intriguing in delightful ways.

This novella is set in the same world as their other books but stands on its own in terms of reading order. I look forward to remaining in Elysoria, so long as my heart remains beating.
