This was a delight pretty much from start to finish! Great banter between the two love interests AND the trio of best friends, and I loved that that levity was countered with discussions of more difficult subjects, including breast cancer/having the gene for breast cancer and living life to the fullest. Cannot wait to pick up Ellie Palmer’s next book!

I probably would not have read this, if I hadn’t met the author on indie bookstore day this year and got this book. It’s light hearted enough, but then tried to throw in gene testing for breast cancer… I felt like it was whiplash between the pre cancerous cancer talk and the romcom this book is. Not to mention, if I am going to read something with fluff, I want something that is far steamier.
