⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A heartfelt romance with complicated emotions and a side of self-acceptance. I loved the message of embracing who you are.
Allison & Adam have a good chemistry, definitely have that fated vibe. To me their love felt rushed and the pacing was not consistent throughout.
Enjoyed! Would recommend.

This is one I had heard good things about for a while, and I understand the hype! This was a romance kind of in the tone of an Abby Jimenez type book (part humorous romantic moments, part heartbreakingly sad side plots). This book did such a great job showing two seemingly different people going from strangers to friends. I loved that it focused on that connection and took time to build it up. It had an entertaining cast of characters and didn’t shy away from messy or real topics. I also know it’s a little thing, but I loved the cultural references the author included in this. I will say the humor wasn’t fully my thing, and the second half/last third really dragged for me as the conflicts experienced felt extremely repetitive. However, I loved the first portion so much, and I’m excited to read more from this author! 🗣👤⚖️⛅️
