6 stars - I loved every part of this book. I was smiling so hard during their banter, giggling, and just loving every second. But I also cried and it felt so well written I loved it so much

I appreciated that the main characters were flawed and the mental awareness focus throughout the story did not overshadow the the humor.

This force proximity novel allowed Allison to fall for Adam under horrible circumstances. She was the ex-girlfriend that didn’t know she had been relegated to ex status before Adam’s best friend’s death. Before they can end up together, they had to do some work on themselves and determine whether or not there is a future. While I liked Allison’s premise, I just felt that the Author didn’t give the character a chance to be likable. She was often hiding behind the concept of adventure.
