This book was very cute, but also has a little more depth than a traditional romance due to the characters back stories. Takes place in MN and you can tell the author is local. I enjoyed!

Seemed promising but then went nowhere. I didn’t see the attraction between the two main characters. Alison was trying to be someone she’s not (not trying to gatekeep the outdoors but being in that field myself, it was super cringey bc it’s actually dangerous to do something like her trip on a whim) and Adam was taking the backseat to his own life not being decisive. And then Sam was somehow rooting for them all along even though his relationships with the MCs were fracturing. Everything just seemed like a reach. Neat learning about BRCA because I knew nothing.
