The second Invisible Library book finds Irene chasing kidnappers into a world of chaos. As with the first, there's a good amount of action and intrigue, and lots of Irene barely escaping death by the skin of her teeth. We learn some more about the dragons and the fae in this one, but not much more about the library itself. The way it ends tees that up for the third book, though.

3.5 stars, I so far have found this series very entertaining and a good read but not the most depth. This book flowed better then the first one in the series but I still think is not quiet all there.
