This book is really good, and I can't wait for the author to write and release the next book in the series because it left on a cliffhanger

This book has so many different personalities which is what makes it fun. Didn’t love the little love Jackie and Alex together only because they seemed like best friends first and I think Alex just wanted to prove that he could have something that Cole wanted.

I should have known that when I discovered this was first published on Wattpad that it was probably not going to be the best. However, I didn’t find this out till after I started reading and decided to push through.
In this book, we follow Jackie, who after her entire family dies in a car crash is forced to leave NYC for Colorado to live with a new family. A family that has 12 CHILDREN!
The plot is very predictable and definitely reads similar to the “After” series. We’ve got all of our favorite tropes: not like other girls, a love triangle and a resident bad charming boy vs nerdy sweetheart. Most of the characters are pretty one dimensional and our main character is just an amalgamation of every rom com main character.
I don’t mind cheesiness but I at least want to be entertained while it’s happening. The only reason I wanted to finish was so that I could say that I had and add it to my reading goal.

The perfect cozy read to end the summer! I’m disappointed in myself for waiting so long to read this! For a YA romance, I appreciated that this book touched a lot of harder themes while also keeping the story somewhat light. I ate this book up and hope the author releases a sequel! My only qualm was that Alex got on my nerves and honestly some of his actions didn’t make sense?

This is written very simply and it was easy to fly through. It kept me entertained while I was sick. I think this is a classic case of right book right time. I do think I enjoyed the show more though.
