I really liked this book. It was quirky and refreshing. I actually laughed out loud! I didn't give it 5 stars because I wouldn't call it amazing, but it was very good. You have a demon would you can only see when he's eating (or killing someone), you have the poor guy attached to him, you have the couple getting divorced, the tough cop from the city and a cross dressing night-clerk, what more does a book really need!

This is the first Christopher Moore book I have read, and I really dug it. It was a quick read, full of dark humor and a good plot. I like his writing style and look forward to going on to read the rest of his books.
