Overall this is a good comfort detective mystery thriller. Plotnya oke, karakter-karakternya oke, temponya oke. Aku berhasil nebak plot twistnya sejak agak awal, tapi tetap suka karena cukup nuanced dan nggak terlalu hitam-putih.

Aku juga suka karakternya Aaron Falk si detektif di sini. Senang ngikutin cerita polisi yang kerjanya bagus, berhubung di buku-buku genre begini lebih sering ketemu tokoh polisi yang bikin emosi

What do you do when you're up multiple times a night to rock your baby to sleep? Listen to an audio book with headphones. 😂😴

I was really excited to read this because I loved 'The Dry', and I met Jane when she came to our library. She is so lovely!

It wasn't as good as 'The Dry', but I still really enjoyed it. There were a couple of things I thought I knew were going on, but I was completely wrong! Jane had me sucked in haha! Can't wait to read all about Aaron Falk in the next book!!

Audiobook. There is something about Stephen Shanahan’s voice; I am not sure if I really liked the story or just listening to him.
It kept my attention and I blew through it.

I’m late to the Jane Harper bandwagon but I’m here for it now. She is great in setting the atmosphere and developing the characters. Her writing is a slow burn yet it doesn’t drag and kept me engaged. There are no big surprises but that’s ok. It’s the journey that makes the read worth it.

Force of Nature is a solid thriller with no real surprises but pleasant prose and good pacing. It jumps back and forth between the past and the present, and I really enjoyed getting to know Aaron Falk. The four women, however, I found rather bland and I kept mixing them up.

I'd definitely read more by Jane Harper.
