an interesting read for sure, with lots of unique (and some less unique) takes on the climate crisis. i found the book didn't really carry a clear thread and it felt like a lot of the chapters sort of repeated the same things, without presenting a clear vision for action. i get the sense that there wasn't a clear prompt for the authors, so while some reflect on the past, others look to the future. while this would normally be a positive thing for a book of this kind, i sort of felt it lacked tangibility...idk what that means but i probably would recommend people to read something else if they want to learn about the impacts of/solutions to climate change in NZ.
