This book was sweet if quite cliche. Many of the characters were flawed and well developed (Ellie and both her parents) but the main love interest was essentially the perfect man who waited his whole life for his dream girl to come back to him. He was frankly unrealistic and thus not as lovable as he was supposed to be. The story didn't really have any surprises, but it still had a good message and a few poignant parts. A little too sentimental and predictable for me, but still a cute story.

I really liked this book because it tells a good story of how God does great and beautiful things at the right time, his time. Also I love that this story includes reconciliation of both family and love too. I would definitly recommend this book to anyone but in certain, people that love God and love a great romance with it being too lovey dovey. This book changed my life a lot. Read it, you won't regret it!

One person's actions can have a far-reaching effect, much greater than you'd think. This is a story about hurting people, broken relationships, forgiveness and trust. It's actually pretty light on the Christian side.

The good: uplifting, theme of forgiveness, a happy ending, a realistic portrait from a Christian author of Christianity used harshly and of believers really messing up big time.

The bad: predictability, a romance that's a bit unbelievable, an ending tied up in a neat bow.

All in all, I enjoyed the book. It's nice to have a light read without going to fluff overload.

This was a good book but it was a little slow at times, but the ending was the best one you could ever ask for.

Oh my goodness, I have NEVER cried through so much of a book. Pretty much from the middle of the book completely through to the end, I was somewhere between tears and sniffles and went through much of a box of tissues. I just plowed straight on through to the end in just a few hours, it was so much a cannot.put.this.down book.
