Book didn’t pick up until almost the end of the story which I didn’t like but otherwise it was good, just not fantastic..

I remember this being a banger when I was a kid

I listened to this book. Parts of it were great but it took me months because I’m not a big audiobook person.

Maybe I’ll try to read the next book in the series. I wasn’t thrilled but I didn’t hate it, ya know?

I actually liked this book better than I thought I would. The plot is good and I like his use of historical characters, they're actually interesting. Unlike the twins, who have are so flat, Scott could have written the book on their personalities rather than on paper.

I checked this book out of the library without knowing anything about it. I liked that it was a fast and interesting read. I loved myths and legends when I was young and this book plays into exploring many of those. I didn't realize when I began reading it is going to be a series of books, which is okay. I really like the characters and am interested to see what happens.

DID NOT FINISH

It claims it's aimed at a teen audience, but I think it's for a much younger audience. Could be fun if the reader hasn't had much exposure to fantasy and mythology types, but as someone who has encountered both Scathach and The Morrigan before, the straight-up presentation of these characters left a lot to be desired.
adventurous fast-paced

Gateway to hardcover collections with embossed, shiny dustjackets. Loved them.
