Such a good book. I loved the way Somya and Xander's loved story progressed and how there family was involved.

There was a lot of healing in this book on all fronts between and family and old flames.

Cozy. Focuses on coparenting and finding love among the way. Accepting and celebrating differences and being family, no matter what shape or form it takes.

10 of motherf***king 10!

I never imagined myself as a homewrecker but XANDER....  THAT'S MY MOTHERF**KING MAN. Somaya is so sweet and I loveeddd them together...❤️❤️ but if he was real.... knuck if you buck. 🤷🏾‍♀️😫🙄 Sigh I'm kidding... maybe kinda... PS  Xander is not perfect. His initial behavior  with Mona was a bit much and out of line. If he was real it would be an absolute NEVER but he not real sooooo f that girl cause THAT'  MY MAN AND I'M GONE STICK BESIDE HIM. Lololl I'm glad he seemed to have reconciled his initial agreesion issues and treated all the women in his life so beautifully as an adult.

The kids were written so well. I've read a couple books from thus author now and our good sis is doing what needs to be done. Definitely becoming a fast fave. Listen, this was a fun easy HEA black romance novel between two black single parents y'all. Its sweet and feel good. Lord knows we all need this.  Swoon-worthy, a bit of emotional drama, spicy, instalove etc etc. Just suspend disbelief and enjoy. I loved it.

This book beautifully portrayed second chances in life, romance, coparenting, and forgiveness. I cried three times.

It was a sweet and fast pacing book, bUT I couldn’t handle the fact that the male MC pressured his baby mamma into having her and also shaming her just cause she wanted an abortion. It’s definitely her body and choice and hated no one pointed him out that. So yeah i loved the couple and the kids but it was against my morals so that downgraded it for me.
