This was my first real go at a crime thriller book. It was a quick read.

If you’re an Angelino (aka from LA), I’m sure you’ll get a kick out of the references to specific roads, intersections, and local landmarks. As a SoCal gal NOT from LA, the descriptions of driving certain routes kinda sounded like a The Californians skit on SNL.

Since this is my first foray into this type of book, this might be par for the course, but I feel like there were lotttts of names to remember. At a certain point I started trying to make a point to remember names, and then they’d never get mentioned again.

I won’t say it was a lighthearted ready by any stretch, but you know that when you sign up.
