I read this under the guise that it was a “must read for your 20s” which I’m sure can be true. But if you find yourself binging Bridgerton, hiding away in books, or relating to the song The Prophecy by Taylor Swift, this may not be as revolutionary.

For me, the book gained traction once Dolly went into the lessons from her late 20s and on.

*Light spoiler with my favorite quote from the book*

“‘You know, that life isn’t happening elsewhere,’ I said. ‘It doesn’t exist in another realm.’”

DNF - tbh i might pick this back up before i turn my airplane mode off on my kindle but i can’t really relate to this book lol mostly bc i am an asian american woman in the US and not a british (presumably white) woman from the UK. it was a drag to read through some parts and i’m not exactly sure what i’m supposed to be learning???
