i will always have a nostalgic spot for this book because my grandparents got it for me when i was very young (actually looking at where they wrote in it apparently right when i was born) on account of the main character and i sharing a name. and it is a cute little story and the art is good and i do love the mix of typography and hand-lettering and how varied the layout of each page is (normal thing to pay attention to (lie) but i was rereading this as research for making a picture book in one of my classes). that being said i think the plot is not the best
