This book manages to make me feel happy even when I’m down. The art style is also fantastic and is very pleasing to look at. Really enjoyable and fun graphic novel.

This is such a nice sweet little story - a nice quick read. I definitely wish we got to see a little bit of more of their actual relationship, we see Ari slowly develop an attachment to Hector but I wish we got to see Hector falling for Ari. From his pov, you never really get the feeling he has feelings for Ari and even from Ari's side there isn't much - they're just suddenly together.

Definitely glad Ari dropped Cameron though, boy bye!

While this wasn't my favourite queer comic (story-wise) - that honour goes to Heartstopper and Check, Please - It is definitely still worth the read! However, in terms of the actual art, this book is my number one!

"Bloom" is super sweet and soft, like a giant blueberry muffin! All the pieces fit together so well: the blue teal color palette, the coming of age/love story/family plot, and the lovable characters. Hector was by far my favorite, but nearly everyone in here (except Cameron, screw him) really lit up the pages. I also really appreciated the baking details that were included, even just simple things like mentioning laminating the croissant dough made me know that the author really knew what he was talking about.
Would definitely recommend "Bloom" as a tender, funny, heart-warming graphic novel!

I loved the art style and the story was super cute but with that being said, most of the side characters sucked and were either completely forgettable or complete assholes. Also the pacing of the story was kinda off.. also I did not really like the main character. So because of these reasons I’m giving this a 3.

A sweet coming-of-age story with lots of heart. Absolutely GORGEOUS art too! What a lovely graphic novel that brought me a lot of joy.

I. HATED. This book. This is genuinely the angriest a book has ever made me, the main character is self-centered and faced no consequences for his brattery and I won't stand for it.
