This is one of the cutest queer stories I've read ever. And it's centered around baking. Ugh, precious! Ari and Hector's romance over the course of one summer is simplistically sweet and endearing. All while looking into the challenge of Ari trying to understand what's best for him and his future. Which I think even surprised him come the end of the story. This novel is just adorable and I can't wait to read the follow up. Also, Ari's parents are incredibly supportive and accepting of the fact that he's gay. Authors, keep writing stories with these supportive parents because it's amazing!

Protect Hector at all costs!

He was such a lovely dude and I especially liked how he was fed up with Ari being a dick and calling him out because of that. I just hated Ari to be honest. Being sensitive doesn't mean you have to be a dick to everyone. I hate how we never got to know why Ari wanted to pursue music or why he suddenly stopped baking with his dad. (I guess it was because of that group of friends) The relationship and the ending were quite rushed. I also felt like Hector forgave Ari way too fast. Their whole relationship was just toxic in general. And don't get me started on his supposed "friends".

This graphic novel is super stinking cute! If you want a cute and slow gay romance with lots of BAKING and ANGST, consider picking up this book!  My only complaint is I felt like the ending was rushed and things were resolved too easily. Otherwise, very cute, excellent pictures, gay baking!

Cameron can kick rocks; he's a shithead. Jake was the only one who really told him off, and Hanna never really properly apologized :( so to me, Hector forgave really quickly (multiple times)
But overall very cute and I really like how we saw Ari's family from different perspectives. And ofc we love to see supportive parents who give their kids unconditional love <3

The art of this graphic novel is outstanding and incredibly beautiful! So much to see! Every picture is it’s own painting!
The only thing that felt a little rushed was the ending as well as
Ari’s and Hector’s first kiss
It was just out of the blue for me.
Oh, and I gotta admit that I really hated Cameron’s character. He was just… I don’t know why Ari even considered him a friend.
