Some parts I really loved. The characters had a lot of potential. But it was a lot of terrible people doing terrible things with no redemption. What was the point? Interesting peek into Indian aristocracy and the dichotomy between classes.

Yeah it starts off 100%, excellent 5 stars book. Then the prospective changes, the focus slips, and by the end I just wanted out.
