Great Read!

Pulled me in immediately and was a page turner the entire time! First book by this author that I’ve read, but I intend to read more!

This was such a great read with a fantastic mashup of science fiction, thriller, mystery, and horror elements. The pieces all fit together perfectly from the plot to the characters. Even the ending left me feeling satisfied. I'm a huge Star Trek: The Next Generation fan and parts of this had a Star Trek meets horror feel right down to the engrossing mysteries.

Earth is being crippled by the fear of Losian’s Disease, a memory stealing condition, and to have a chance to save her afflicted daughter, Gillian ends up traveling to space and dealing with a murder.

The science behind Losian’s Disease was fascinating and terrifying. Gillian's trip to
Mars and her subsequent dealing with her addiction and withdrawals
set her up to understand the murder mystery at the space station. The science behind the
the teleportation
was also fascinating and played into the plot very well.

Overall, Obscura toed the lines of thriller and horror, but the long flight and the murder-mystery aspects were more prominent. A good read if you're looking for a near-future sci-fi mystery with a frightening disease!
