I'm not normally an audiobook girlie. I have this weird, intense sensitivity to some voices, and I find it hard to sit still while someone talks in my ear for hours on end.

Episode Thirteen's narration team did an absolutely amazing job. Each character had a distinct voice and personality. When the scene called for it, there was music and sound effects. A vivid movie played in my mind every time I washed dishes. I'm genuinely sad it's over, because I had such a blast with this book.

As for the story itself, Episode Thirteen is a chilling, mysterious mash-up of found footage and liminal horror. I think this blend worked really well, and the transition between both subgenres was flawless.

I loved this book. Kept me intrigued time. Got some As Above So Below vibes going on.

I have never read anything quite like this.  It is the written version of a found footage horror movie in the BEST way. This was basically written for me to enjoy. So good.  This is what I WANTED House of Leaves to be.   As it got close to the end I didn’t want it to be over but it wrapped up perfectly.  Truly, chef’s kiss. 10 out of 5 stars.

First read of 2024 down! This was a lot stranger than I expected. Starts off as just a silly found footage paranormal investigation show, then divulges into a puzzle box of weirdness. A fun, fast read
