This premise was new to me, and at first I wondered how this would go- a romance with her deceased husband's twin brother? Melanie worked her magic as usual and this book was AMAZING! I was drawn in immediately by Hannah and adored her daughter Abby so much- what a precious little girl. Together they were a great team, but still hurting from their loss. And Wes, what a perfect man! He came into their lives and filled the role of Uncle and at first, friend and confidant for Hannah. Reading about their journey and challenges was so moving- Melanie managed to capture both the joy and the heartache of the situation. A must read!

Loved this book so much! Emotional and a bit angsty with a sweet romance and super hot steamy scenes - this book was everything I love about romance! To be totally honest, I was a bit hesitant going into this one - I was nervous about how the story would work with the hero being the deceased husband's twin. I love this authors writing so I wanted to give it a chance and I'm so glad I did. This was a heartfelt story, a grieving widowed single mom and the twin brother of the man she loved - there were people who would think it was wrong but they understood each other and had amazing chemistry. I'm totally swooning over this story, the characters and even the small town setting. I can't wait to read whatever this author writes next.

Tenderhearted and romantic, From This Moment captivates and enthralls from the first page. Harlow easily captured all of the little nuances of two people suffering from the different sides of grief–from the regret to the heartache and the guilt. The many issues at hand, one being a woman falling for the identical twin of her deceased husband, were handled with grace and aplomb, leaving the reader to simply follow along as the pages turned and the story unfolded.
With a plotline such as this, one that covers a very sensitive subject and the many hurdles that must be addressed, Harlow didn’t shy away from showing the characters battling with it and finding both strength and mistakes along the way. Hannah’s character had a mountainous obstacle to overcome, and it was refreshing to see her truly struggle with every different aspect of it. Her sensitivity, fears, and sexuality were very present and at the forefront of her character’s being–as they should be. The mutual connection between Hannah and Wes and what they both lost was a connecting factor, but what came out of it was uniquely very much its own thing.
From This Moment was a passionate and delicately-handled love story, one with a healing kind of love that easily encapsulated the reader in its arms. Wes was as dreamy as a hero can be, but the strength and perseverance of Hannah was the shining factor–a trait emboldened by his support and friendship. It’s a beautiful story with an even more beautiful message to tell

I didn’t want to like this
The whole dead husband’s identical twin thing is just cringey. Lenore was just god awful, and Hannah was so annoying at times that I wanted Wes to give up on her!

Talk about a very tough and emotional situation to face when your dead’s husband identical twin comes back home. This was one of my favorite books from Melanie and it was so gut wrenching. And sweet Abby, goodness I just loved her so much. Thank you for all these wonderful books that I can’t put down.

Melanie Harlow does it again! I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the synopsis but I loved this book. Wes and Hannah were such a sweet couple, you found yourself rooting for them immediately. The tension in this book was so well done. The barriers and conflicts (both internal shuffles and outside factors) were very realistic. I could really feel and connect with the emotions of Wes and Hannah. I will say I could not stand Lenore and felt she should’ve had to put in more work to be forgiven. Honorable mention to the appearances of Margot, Jack, Georgia, and Pete. I definitely would recommend this book!
