“Ouch.” Malcolm’s soundless laughter shook them both. “You hate me that much, huh?” “I feel something with some sort of intensity.”

Another good installment. Lots of spice in this one. They're finally together. And the plot on the side is intense but small. It's an afterthought to the main story. Though well analysed. The overall plot is closing in. Looking forward to the next book.

First off, I don't know if it was just my ebook version but there were several typos and missing words in this book. I also don't even know why we still need a new big case every book when the resolution is always so superficial. It's not particularly engaging when the suspects are immediately obvious and we readers know more because of this unnecessary first chapter.
Also, if they don't talk about blue and green eyes in the next book, I'm going to rage quit the series. I hate miscommunication and not communicating as plot devices. And come on, we're establishing this big villain as being able to predict everything, have his hand in every single case, just to "make him clean again". I'm just not really here for it. I'd rather read more about the relationship and singular, interesting cases.
